Inquiry Unit Reflection 2013

The past few weeks we’ve been developing our knowledge and we’ve been trying to find solutions to decrease the amount of money we spend on removing the rubbish we produce in our school. Constantly, daily, monthly, yearly, we always end up on the wrong pathway. We always hang out with the wrong crowd and then we end up doing bad things. This is just like littering. You just constantly keep doing it once you’ve done it once! Once you’ve done it once, you get used to it. Then it becomes a life routine. Luckily I have a solution. To decrease the amount of money we spend removing our rubbish at school. I thought about it and came up with reusing most of the recyclable items we throw out. Back home I always had to make something out of an egg carton, or a cardboard box. Now that I’ve moved to Auckland, it’s all changed. Like you buy plastic plates, throw them in the bin. Plastic cups, throw them in the bin and then we don’t realise the facts are true!

The past few weeks we’ve been developing our knowledge about rubbish. For years, different groups of people have been lead into different parts of our school. Most of us litter and some of us don’t. This is a real big issue because it harms marine animals in the ocean AND it could also ruin our school reputation. In our lives sometimes we get bothered because of the mess they leave behind for others to pick up. Basically, we don’t care about anyone but ourselves. We can stop this by making others(including myself) take the time to walk over to a bin and taking the time to talk about it with a bunch of friends!

Basically the rubbish I produce will harm our future generations and constantly kills marine animals. Imagine you as a seal and you come up onto a rock with rubbish strangling you. If you could think more, would you?

THIS IS MY REFLECTION I COMPLETED FOR ABOUT HALF N HOUR. IT'S ABOUT THE INQUIRY UNIT WE STUDIED. BE SURE TO FLING BY AND LEAVE ME SOME POSITIVE COMMENTS INCLUDING FF AND FB ABOUT MY WORK FOR THE NEXT TIME I POST MY WORK!
